BOSS U16 Green Power Past Fleet Flyers in Energetic Pre-Season Road Victory
BOSS U16 Green stormed out of the gates with an explosive opening quarter on the road, setting the tone early with intense defensive pressure and fast-paced transition basketball. The team established immediate dominance through quick ball movement and disruptive hands, forcing numerous Fleet Flyers turnovers that Henry and Max converted into easy points on the way to a commanding 22-10 first-quarter advantage.
The middle quarters saw BOSS consolidate their lead through gritty defense and balanced contributions across the entire roster. Despite Fleet Flyers attempting to claw back in the second period, BOSS locked down the paint in the third with stellar rim protection from Malachi and relentless playmaking from Brodie. A blistering 21-10 third-quarter push, punctuated by perimeter shooting and sharp assists, effectively put the game out of reach.
While the fourth quarter brought a slight dip in offensive rhythm and some late turnover struggles against full-court pressure, BOSS held their ground firmly to close out a resounding 67-50 win. The squad displayed fantastic team chemistry, shared the ball unselfishly with 27 total assists, and showed great pre-season promise with all five starters recording an impressive +17 plus/minus on the day.
